Formed in 1981, by IRS Managers, the Professional Managers Association is a national membership association representing the interests of professional managers, management officials and non-bargaining unit employees in the federal government.
PMA's core belief is that more than 200,000 federal managers and management officials have ideas on management issues that should be brought to the attention of the Administration, Congress and the public. PMA is your voice on Capitol Hill, in your agency and before the Administration. PMA is your lobbyist on Capitol Hill, meeting with Members of Congress to discuss issues that affect you and every federal worker. PMA testifies before Senate and House Committees to present the concerns and opinions of our membership and meets with agency leaders to affect policy changes in a proactive manner. PMA regularly deals with major media outlets to further promote our issues.
