For 20 years, we've held in our hearts the 2,977 people who were killed and the many thousands who were injured in the deadliest attack to occur on American soil. We mourn the loss of IRS employee Dave Bernard and the other 68 federal workers who perished on 9/11. We will never forget the sacrifices made by tens of thousands of first responders and volunteers who selflessly risked their lives to search for survivors and to provide aid to those injured in the attack. We pray for those who have since succumbed to devastating illnesses and for the recovery of those who continue to suffer from the effects of that day. We are eternally grateful to our military, to those who served to root out terrorism at its source, as well as to their families and spouses who all sacrificed in big and small ways so that America might be safer in the future.
PMA will never forget.
